JAMES E. BUSK
BACKGROUND
James E. Busk has served client organization situations from immediate cash projections to long-term strategic planning. His expert modeling skills allow clients to anticipate needed changes and future asset positions. His past engagements encompassed operational assessments, cost and workforce reductions, cash management and vendor negotiations. He has experience from many sides of a transaction; debtor
consulting, creditors’ representative/analyst, secured creditor’s advisor,
and acquisition specialist. AREAS OF

Mr. Busk’s unique skill of managing a short-term crisis while not losing
sight of long-term goals has proven invaluable to his clients. His strategic training provides his clients
insights into the market and the probable outcome of the business situation. Mr. Busk has substantial experience advising troubled companies or
interested stakeholders that operate in a variety of industries including
manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, advertising, mining, trucking,
printing, staffing, internet, food processing and construction. He has worked on cases involving a broad spectrum of companies
ranging in size from $10 million to $5 billion in assets. PREVIOUS
EXPERIENCE
Mr. Busk has a diverse background as an Operating Manager, Sales and
Marketing Executive and Financial Consultant.
He joined High Ridge Partners in 2001.
Prior to joining High Ridge Partners, Mr. Busk was a Restructuring
Analyst in Arthur Andersen’s Global Corporate Finance Group. EDUCATION AND
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Mr. Busk has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of
Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. He is a member of the Turnaround Management
Association and American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Busk
developed and teaches a Turnaround Management class for the Graduate School
of Business at Loyola University Chicago.
